Native of the great state of Maine, resident of the great states of Kansas and Georgia, although it presently seems that I am a resident of United Airlines.

Undergrad, Grad, and Postgrad schooling in philosophy, computer science, and business.

Professional
Have worked as a professor, as an engineer at IBM Research in silicon valley and NY, as a quant and technologist on Wall Street for a top commodities trading firm, and as a CIO for a large, privately held international commodities trading house. The last couple of years have been the best and wierdest of my career - quite frankly, I don't know what to call what I do -- basically I run an internal management consulting and r&d firm for one of the largest companies on earth.

Family
Three beautiful daughters who are definitely going places and are constantly teaching me new things about life. They also drive me crazy.

The most supportive, beautiful and amazing wife a man could ever hope to have who puts up with all my faults and whom I'm crazy about.
